Fundraising and Social

Zonta Club of Melbourne's West seeks local opportunities to raise funds for projects that benefit women and girls in our community and to make our contribution to Zonta International Service Projects and Awards. We celebrate the achievements of Amelia Earhart every year, with funds raised supporting the Zonta International Amelia Earhart Fellowship.

In addition, we welcome support through Grants Programmes.

Past fundraising has included sausage sizzles, raffles, theatre and movies, line dancing, concerts and international dinners.

And socially we meet to share ideas and strengthen our bonds as Zontians.

Living the Zonta Spirit

The Zonta Spirit is the heart and soul of all members, and it is how we create a strong and inclusive culture of community, fun and friendship as we work to build a more equal world. The
Zonta Spirit takes shape within our organization when we have fun and build friendships while collaborating on service and advocacy projects.
We demonstrate it in all the things we do to make a difference, first, in our local community and then, broadening out to the larger international work we engage in.
